Today we’re going to show you a video recipe of a delicious meal that can be easily prepared for breakfast, lunch or dinner. See the ingredients and preparation method below and enjoy!
Preparation
Step 1
Chop up the mushrooms and bacon.
Step 2
Heat up the olive oil and add the chopped ingredients.
Step 3
Sear them until the bacon is crispy and the mushrooms are golden.
Step 4
Take them out, drain them from the oil and place in a bowl with paper towel to soak the extra oil and fluids.
Step 5
Boil a pot of water to poach the eggs in and poach them.**
Step 6
Toast the English muffin.
Step 7
Ready to assemble: English muffin, bacon, mushrooms and eggs.
Serve
Season with salt and pepper and it’s ready to serve.
** How to poach an egg:
1. Gently boil some water in a large pot. If you’re thinking, “What is a gentle boil?”, just bring the water to a boil and then lower the heat, so that the water is just bubbling, but not boiling like crazy. Then salt the water.
2. Crack your eggs into small individual cups, so they’re ready to pour into the water.
3. Using a spoon, begin stirring the water in a large, circular motion (like a tornado).
4. Once the tornado is really moving, add the eggs. The motion of the water will wrap the egg white around itself, so the egg stays together as it cooks.
5. Cook the eggs for 2½ to 3 minutes, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel. You can shape your eggs before serving by cutting the loose ends with a knife.
